Guest Simon* Report post Posted January 16, 2008 I'm going to open a can of worms here .... I think this car is overpriced. By quite a bit in actual fact. Now I want an objective discussion to commence on this - come on guys, what do you reckon?
international 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2008 Yes, chances of it getting sold at the price is unlikely, there was a E36 M3 Evo 3.2L with less Ks for the same price.
Grant 4 Report post Posted January 16, 2008 I'm going to open a can of worms here .... I think this car is overpriced. By quite a bit in actual fact. Now I want an objective discussion to commence on this - come on guys, what do you reckon? I completely agree, I think that the asking price is 10k above the current market value.I'd expect to pay less than 35k for a good condition E36 M3 Evo. There are another couple of them on trade me for 15 - 16k (abeit with a lot higher km's), but the close to $20k difference would go along to freshen up the higher km ones. However, you never know, it may sell at this price, and good luck to the seller. Cheers Grant
Mark 178 Report post Posted January 16, 2008 Nice car.... but there's one in Wellington which is a far nicer example and they're only asking $21k... so there may need to be a slight price adjustment!

tonylauno1 7 Report post Posted January 16, 2008 Simon is right, it is overpriced. Anyone in Chch might as well take a trip to Auckland and get this M3 Evo with SMG gearbox and tan leather at 70,000km for $32,000 Then again you never know, someone down in Chch needs a M3 quick and just buy it

crazyarab 6 Report post Posted February 22, 2008 Yep, I too (as most people here) have been watching the M3 market for a long time now. Sorry to say it but your price seems very high, the red M3 here in Chch is an example of this... It's NZ new, with a fair bit lower Km's yet still no one seems to be forking out $24k. Best of luck with the sale however I think you will only find the buyers around the $20k mark. Thats my opinion anyhow.

cainchapman 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2008 The 2nd link has orange indicators. Why would you do that? M cars should have clears. I'd go with the 95 for preference. The Boston Green.
Yuen 16 Report post Posted March 29, 2008 Cain I think the earlier cars came with ambers, only later models came with clears. The Boston Green looks good, and it's got a nice interior. The new price is more realistic. Good luck with the sale!
alex 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2008 Yeh, i got my '94 changed to clears, the orange ones look hideous.
R90S 2 Report post Posted March 30, 2008 Yeh, i got my '94 changed to clears, the orange ones look hideous. Yep, I did the same. Our car came with orange indicators which are now carefully stored in cardboard boxes on the shelf. If it's that important to a future owner, they can be changed back. :>)
