can 2l head from a M20 1990 fit on a 1990 2.5L m20 engine

not worried about proformance differenecs etc ,

just to get a guys 1990 525i going again .

which cam should he use .

I THINK the m20b25 has pop up pistons and the m20b20 doesn't. So i think that may cause a problem.

nope, it wont. not unless the head is machined extensively...just get a 325 head

buy the way there is a 2.5L m20 from a e34 525i sitting just outside its body in pick apart takanini if any what a cheap engine , i think about $300 for engines
