QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) Looking at what? removing the transmission? Replacing the bearing/valve or something else? edit: what model it is, would help. Edited April 1, 2008 by QuickSilver

*rUstY_nUts* 9 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 Sorry guys. But you are totally out of your depth here..325_driver You are taking on far more than you may think. Even proffessional repair shops use professional transmission shops to do transmissions these days.
User Name 19 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 Hi losing reverse was the first sign when two of my auto transmission were just about gone, is the car slipping at all when changing gears? or have power loss in first gear as that was the next to go on mine. just putting in my two cents, i found it cheaper to replace with a second hand gearbox only cost me around $350 from a wreakers but have seen them cheaper unless you dont mind paying for professional to check it out
