Price for lowering e30

Recommended Posts

You can get you springs compressed for $180, the rides deffintly not as good but you can do compress them as much as you want to level it out. Im really happy with mine.

I lowered my old E30 60/40, springs are all captive and had no problems at all. As mentioned go H&R or jamex, both are European made, so are cold wound which is much more preferable to kings/Dobi etc which are hot wound

Ok, i think they use Kings at M&Turbo.

Do you think you could do me a decent set at your Chch store for a decent price? Prefer to support the sponsors.

Or Vogtlands, I have these in mine and they are great…Once again call Keith at Suspension Progress (he’s a nice guy and offers us BS members a discount) and ask him what a set are worth, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Im no expert but im under the impression that compressing the spring only shortens it and when lowering a car you really want to change the spring rate to compensate for reduced height..correct me if im wrong pro’s.

I've been in contact with Keith and he's talked to M&Turbo about sorting out a good deal on some Vogtlands so i'll speak to them and sort something out.

Thanks for your input
