inserting window

hey guys

4 door e30 question here

since it looks pretty simple

but is prooving to be harder than expected.

inserting the triangular piece of window, (rear right on the e30 between window and pillar)

how do i insert it ?

e.g. do i need to take the whole door apart ?

From memory, I think the window glass needs to come out first, the divider can then be slid forward to allow access of the Qtr window

You need to take out the window regulator and main glass first and then the window guide that holds the 1/4 glass in, which means basically you strip the door apart unfortunately.

No, The regulator is the mechanism that supports/ winds the window up & down - remove this to be able to remove the main glass
