RvT 9 Report post Posted May 14, 2008 (edited) Not sure if anyone has seen this. Apparently there is a franchise company in Germany who are applying printed foil to your car. Cost is around $US 3500 per car and when you are sick of the colour, you can just peel it off and you are back to original paint again. So far they have franchisees in Sweden and UAE. http://www.foilacar.com/index_gallery.php A good business opportunity for someone in NZ?? Yuen 16 Report post Posted May 14, 2008 Yeah, saw that car above before and also another M3 CSL that was grey but got foiled in white which was cool. Not cheap but worth it for expensive cars with a rare colour.
my_e36 43 Report post Posted May 15, 2008 Is this similar to what they did to the 7-series in the movie Taxi when Gisele Bündchen (the bank robber) and her gangs getting away??

OSiRiS 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2008 There's a difference between satin and matte. Matte will go sh*t after time. Satin won't.
