Diff identification

hey guys

got my diff out,

looks pretty large case, so im wondering if its an lsd, how do i find out what sought of diff it is

out of a 325i e30, just ive heard of some cases of e30's coming with lsds,

id tag saz, 3,54 759,

so first part is ratio, what is the last part ?

If theres a big S stamped on the case its an LSD

Where the driveshaft connects to the diff is there 4 or 6 holes?

and cant find a s stamped any where,

which is wierd, because when i first got it i could happily light up both wheels if i really wanted to

Turn one of the output flanges - does the other one turn the same direction and spin the input flange, or does the opposite one simply turn the opposite direction?

The first scenario indicates a LSD, the second an open diff.

Think thats a medium case.

theres no tag on the mounting bolt? Should say what ratio it is there, and possibly an S there?
