OLLIE 26 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 I'm a member of a product design forum, It's interesting the random things people do and show everyone else, today there was this M1 concept. Although the rendering is not super i actually really like the shape of the car, looks tough as!
Yuen 16 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 (edited) Yeah it looks very good, I saw a photo of it sometime ago in an actual location (not a rendering), apparently it was a photoshop using the E92 M3. I'll try to find that photo. Here it is: Edited June 6, 2008 by Yuen

Tomo 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2008 (edited) Yeah it looks very good, I saw a photo of it sometime ago in an actual location (not a rendering), apparently it was a photoshop using the E92 M3. I'll try to find that photo. Here it is: must say that the incorporation of the E92M3 design elements suit it very well, heck, it looks production ready-to-kick-the-R8, however it isn't real; I subscribe to newsfeed www.autoblog.com, this picture was in there a while ago, it is an enviable photochop blending the M1 Homage and E92M3, the background picture is horizontally flipped from the Ford GT image below. hybrid 1043 Report post Posted June 8, 2008 hmmm .. two things that annoy me about that render are .. its too obvious .. concept design is about taking element (not actual designs) and evolving them. While I dont like the american head light idea of the BMW's m1 concept .. it actually steps the design of BMW elements forward. This render does not. Its too audi r8 looking for my tastes. (not that thats a bad thing, just need to be original) otherwise .. its very well done.
Yuen 16 Report post Posted June 8, 2008 I agree. This render looks pleasing in the sense that it's safe - not pushing the boundaries a step futher.
