She was first used by BMW as part of its fleet and used as a demo vehicle at BMW dealership 02484 in Pretoria, South Africa. Benjamin Gueme sold it new to a guy named Johand who was an executive a Gallo Records on 3rd August 1989. She was imported into New Zealand in 1997 and went through a few different numberplate changes as she changed owners, as personalised plates seemed to be at its height around this time. Most of the owners she has had have been dealerships. Since she has been in NZ she has a had a wide variety owners to the likes of a competing boxer, Shortland St ‘celebrities’ if that kind of thing excites you, it was owned by my next door neighbour when I was 16 and the last owner and myself being BMW enthusiasts. During the last 18 months I have owned the car, I have had pretty much trouble free motoring with only minor problems like a flat battery. An employee of JC BMW owns her so most of the work done on it has been carried out there. She gets professionally groomed possibly too regularly and is always clean. The leather gets treated every couple of months to try keep it nice. Some parts let her down a bit and show her age. Those things would be her cracked dash which anyone who knows E30’s would know how common that is. Some minor pin dents (only about 3 or so) and a bend in the lower rear valance, which I got straightened out but is not perfect but does not bother me. Was quoted another $200 to have it perfectly straight again. I have been very fussy while I have owned the car and anyone who knows me can defiantly vouch for that! The car gets a few compliments now and then on the street and the odd head turning from people who can appreciate a well looked after E30. Looking for around $3500. Although this figure is negotiable. I am not really in too much of a hurry to sell as I am waiting to see what is happening to another car I am looking at. Am only selling, as her younger E36 sister is looking rather appealing. Feel free to ask and questions below of via PM Cheers Ryan Edited August 10, 2008 by RJS

bravo 35 Report post Posted June 17, 2008 I was the most recent PO. I bought the car with a stuffed auto and replaced it It was in perfect order, and I changed fluid etc at the same time. The previous owner had looked after the car fairly well until the auto gave up on him. I spent a fair bit of time and $ tidying the car up before Ryan bought it as it had sat for a little while and needed a good service and rubbers replaced and some minor electrical issues fixed. Otherwise mechanically it was great, and had the quietest tappets of any e30 I've ever come across. To his credit Ryan has done alot of good work to make the finish and interior match the mechanical standard. I'd be happy to answer any questions, but I'm sure the car speaks for itself. Good luck with the sale Ryan!
