just found out the size of the alpina wheels i have

pick up this 1990 E34 535iA

with alpina wheels , front and rear alpina spoliers and steering wheel ,badges etc .

brought at auction , only came with one key and alarm remote , rang the guys at turners to ask them to send out some servicing info that was surpose to be with the car , the the guy says its pretty unimportant stuff . so any way he sends it out , i am reading through all the history etc and notice a receit for a alarm fitted recently , so i think to my self the owner must still have a secong remote and key , so i left a message on there answerphone (ph number on one of the receits)they called me back to say they had left both keys etc with turners and also some wheel lock keys which got soent back to them , so they sent back those to turners and after a bit of ringing around got turners to find the other key and remote etc .

so they sent them on to me , i when i got the keys i had to go and check the wheel size thats behind the centre cap .

turns out the fronts are 17" by 8.5" with 235/45tyres and the rear are 17" by 10" with 255 tyres .

I thought they looked wider at the back .

Thats good you have a staggered set Brent, (same as my car) Alpina always favoured that set up to obviously give more rear grip so the front end looses grip first etc. (understeer)

E34 std fitment for the rears was 17x9.5", sounds like we both have 10" from the E32 set up.

Thats a good low mileage car, everything work on it? Any faults you have found?

These Alpina Classics (deep dish) are still worth a few bob.

yes , car seems to be all good , i have only driven it for a few days etc .

cant wait till its a 5spd . also have a lsd to go in it .

tow bar etc .

found a matching glovebox to replace the tv it had in it .
