Jeddy 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 (edited) Is it true that Jerry Clayton did this? Wow looks pretty tidy and only 86km Edited June 18, 2008 by jeddy
Mark 178 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Would take a bit of work to get that looking nice again. - new wheels - remove hideous stereo installation - M-tech 2 wheel - M-tech houndstooth recaro seats Then it would look mint.
Braeden320 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Dont like the wheels, there a bit modern for an e30 i think, but other than that really nice!
Yuen 16 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Mmm I like it. If I bought it the first thing I'd do is return it to stock!
bimmer boy 21 Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Is it true that Jerry Clayton did this? Wow looks pretty tidy and only 86km Yep, I believe they did it to help move thier old stock, they still do things like this now, only it is qute rare for them to fully kit a povo spec car, they usually just add some bigger aftermarket wheels insted like this one which I used to take to the airport a lot looks so much better with cooler wheels. Silver Fox 43 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 So, have you rebuilt, and how's your bro's car coming?
3series 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 (edited) Nah, my bro's abandoned the E30 racer idea for now, hes bought a freaking nice kart and is getting into the KT100's and will go from there. Hopefully he can learn from there and move up the ranks till one day he hits the big track . He really wants an E30 daily though and personally I can't see why he doesnt buy your 316i, that thing is a beautiful car. Hes a hard person to please, I still maintain my favourite E30 I've owned so far was my 316i (1.8), way nicer drive than the others. He wants something to tow his kart and doesnt think a 4cylinder would cut it. Havent started the rebuild just yet, will first be topping up the indicator fluid and then reconditioning hte twin confrobulators in the mean time (in the middle of exams / assignments). Listen carefully and you can hear the noise from the hydralic lifters! Edit: woops Edited June 20, 2008 by Eddy
