*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 I would just like to add.. due to the previous thread. If you experience this problem with your key spinning in the barrel...get it fixed straight away. If the key jams, and you cant turn it to release the barrel, it will cost you a new steering lock and a new barrel which is approx $800 to do. Not many locksmiths know how to do this. Had one (not in time) where I was eventually able to drill out & bastidise the barrell assy to remove it from the housing without damaging BUT cost the owner several hours work - instead of 10 minutes Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
