You should get it cleaned up, chromed, slap a slab of glass on top and call it a coffee table. Or chain it to the front of a boat... Have you got a prime suspect? Or was it a random failure? Going by the colour of the oil, I would say it already had a cooling system problem, either cracked head or headgasket, and the conrod has bent due to No2 cylinder hydraulicing and then shot out the side of the block....coincidental that it happened after picking up from the pound.
