choppa10100 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2008 Why do i get logged out every time i visit a page in the forum, also have to log on every time i visit even tho i'm supposed to log on automatically. Have cleared cookies, reset password more than once but no luck. Bit pointless being registered user if i have to log on every page.

bravo 35 Report post Posted August 11, 2008 Never had a problem - do you guys have software automatically cleaning out your cookies? What browser are you using. I'm using Firefox 3.0.1.

bravo 35 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 Likely a cookie issue. If you are using firefox check under Tools>options>Privacy and see what your cookie settings are. Accept cookies and set them to delete when they expire. In IE check Cookie settings under Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Advanced Post back how you get on. Also if you are using any type of automated cleaner on startup or regularly (such as Ccleaner) make sure you move the bimmersport cookies to the exclusion list. choppa10100 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 Well i've tried EVERYTHING and still nothing, very odd that of all the forums i use (and there are a few) Bimmersport is the only one that keeps logging me off. Anyone think just maybe because there is more then one user this is happening to then it's not our op systems with the prob!!!

I had to go into exceptions and allow bimmersport, easy as that, and now I don't have to log in every page I try and view. I had a feeling it had something to do with the cookies, and now i'm a happy camper Cheers
bravo 35 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 Also forgot - under the Tools>options>Privacy in Firefox - check the clear private data settings are not clearing cookies. It may pay to set it to clear cookies, click "clear Now...", remove setting to clear cookies and then close firefox, open and logon to bimmersport so the cookie is reset.
