briancol 3 Report post Posted August 12, 2008 I am redoing the exhaust system on my coupe. I am getting rid of the catylitic (sp) converter and want to replace the muffler. Question is, which one do I use? I want to improve the exhaust note (a deeper slightly louder note) and twin outlet pipes. Can anyone here suggest which muffler to use. FLYINV 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2008 Do you have a 323i because I'm almost certain BMW stopped making 325i's in early 95. Plus all 325's are dual outlet already. If it is a 323 with the single pipe all the way through from the headers the best bet for power is to swap in a 328 exhaust centre section and muffler as well. It makes big power gains.
