323e30 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2008 Thats some pretty extensive body work you have done there, I reken most of it works so far except the "v8" letters in the grill. There a little too dominating on the front like that. imo. Will be cool to see this finished Keep us posted.

bimmer boy 21 Report post Posted August 19, 2008 Wow what a big project you got going, lots of custom stuff your doing, never an easy task! Although I must say I agree with what someone else said above the the V8 lettering is a little overkill makes the front end look a little too 'busy'. All and all I'll look forward to seeing the end result.
mynbmr 225 Report post Posted August 23, 2008 Looking good mate. Care to give us a brief rundown of future plans and a bit more info about what you've done? So far I have completely stripped under side of car and suspension, cleaned and repainted under side of car, and suspension. Rebushed suspension. New shocks, lower springs, disk brakes, brakes and bearings. Taken old stuffed motor out. Stripped, cleaned, repainted engine bay, cleaned and painted another low km motor, painted drive shaft, and diff. Shaped top of old bonnet, made mould of top and underside, made a copy and glued together to make the bonnet. Sprayed old mudguards with foam, shaped and smoothed out, made moulds, and made copys. same with front bumper and grille. Taken me a year so far. Next is widen rear mudgards and side skirts, back bumper, spoiler, paint it, M3 mirrors. Hopefully be on road in April DUTCHY

ducatiss 1 Report post Posted October 12, 2008 That's a sh*t load of work you have done there and I think the end result will look good. Others have hinted at the V8 letters in the grill, so I'm going to repeat... - please please please get rid of them. No matter how good the end result, the V8 in the grill will ruin it. M325is 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2008 I'm keen to see the rear bumper, I think if it will look a lot better once on and matching the front end of the car, I don't like seeing cars going round with massive front bumpers/splitters then the rear of the car is standard, looks so wrong, good to see you are completing the whole project before painting and driving it.
