Grant 4 Report post Posted August 12, 2004 Very very nice looking car. Nice Mtech kit, nice wheels also. Where did you get the wheels from (and do they make a 16 inch version)? Good work. Cheers

Deftones 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2004 so someone decided to draw that on your bonnet why???? Dunno mate. Mine, a E36, and a brand spanker Falcon XR6 turbo was done. I'd just given it a clean as well (I think), so I'm guessing they would have gone for the european/new looking cars, even though my car was nearly the cheapest car in the whole carpark (but the others were mainly non-european).Bugger eh... stink considering i luv punk/metal/angry music.. Deftones 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2004 looks good man...nice colour too where did you get your mtech kit from? and your konis? $$ on both would be great shadowlining would look good..but i like it Bought my M-Tech kit off euro autoparts (?) in Manukau City. I was just after the wing at first. It came off another 320i which was just sitting in their garage due to the fact they couldn't register it due to the new front-impact standards that the LTSA have brought in. I think it cost me $1300 for the kit (inc trade-in on my bumpers). Wasn't able to find any places that made replicas. BMW sells the rear wing for about $1000 alone.Konis (actually I don't think they are, lemme get back to you on that, in fact, they aint?) bought from Maclennan Performance Center in Welly, along with the wheels which I can't remember if they sell 16" versions. Try www.maclennanperformance.com and give them a bell. Good guys there.
*sic 1 Report post Posted August 13, 2004 its sad when people decide to go and be morons and wreck something that they did not help to create... its enough to make you want to bring in the old "chop his / hands off"

Deftones 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2004 hehe.. classic! It's been resprayed since then. I was lucky when I bought the mtech kit, that it was delphion mettalic. The shade was a bit darker, and it was a bit rugged in the front, and back bumper was primered. Had all the dings taken out, and resprayed (just the bumpers). Anyone know howto get hold of shadowlines? Are they easy to replace the original chrome stuff?
Guest Andrew Report post Posted August 13, 2004 very cool - welcome to the site gus' did his shadowline with vinyl and it looks good - ask him about it.
Deftones 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2004 Thanks Andrew. Rang up Shelly BMW here in Wellington, and it'll cost $800 inc GST ex Germany to buy 2x front, 2x back, 2x joiners
