Recommended Posts

Guest Andrew

Looking to organise a group buy for some Jamex 55mm springs. Should improve handling slightly, will make car look a lot better.. drops 55mm front and back.

Surely a 40mm drop is as low as you can safely go with an E30's trailing arm suspension, with regards to acceptable tyre wear.

And besides, how cool does one wheel at a time look over a speed bump?

no.. 5.5 cm from my height is OK.

Bavarian Motors are going to let me try them for a week.. if your keen you can come have a look at the car.

55mm!! LMAO!!! Goodbye tyres.

i'd say ollies car is slammed more than that and his camber looks sweet.

I have them in my E30.

Here is a pick.

Everything clears the 100mm rule, Exhaust will be the lowest thing.

Yeah the jamex springs are probably good for your car too. Don't quote me on that though.

Tyre will wear faster because the wheels will sit at a more negative camber.. only like 3 degrees.

I don't know about that andrew,

A Euro S50/S52 powered E30 would be neat as would a E30 M3.

But yeah anything less is a compromise in Hp to keep it BMW and costs $$$ to much.

It is reasonably firm, I think it needs a stiffer rear sway bar though?!?!

I am looking to convert to E36 suspension in the near future so keep an eye on the "For Sale" section as my Koni's, Jamexs, big brakes and wheels will be in there.

hah let me re-phrase.. Its better than any BMW power motor I could afford :-)

I'd be interested in those koni's when they come up for sale.
