matt45 1 Report post Posted September 19, 2008 hi all, i have a 96 e36 coupe, when it went thru compliance it had all the pads changed and i believe the rear rotors also (front rotors were not changed but are borderline)..... and now i have a lovely squeaking every time i touch the brakes which i and bmworkshop assume is because they have put in crappy aftermarket pads. I am Wanting to replace all the pads, front rotors and back if necessary (they may have also used crap rotors). So my question is should i be buying OEM BMW rotors and pads OR can someone recommend some good aftermarket ones? thanks in advance.

isis 16 Report post Posted September 19, 2008 go OEM or original - guaranteed not to squeek and bites! only problem i found is that there can be quite a bit of brake dust.
