*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted September 24, 2008 We have a 1997 Audi A3 here at work that has been lowered (legally) The problem is, the R/H front axle touches the sway bar Does anyone know where you can get a aftermarket sway bar or longer links to eliminate this problem ?? I know we have VW & Audi enthusiasts in here as well Cheers Glenn
no-coast-punk 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2008 Your car has the same suspension as the VW golf of the same era. I would be willing to bet that OEM golf GTI stuff would work for you. Those cars have a lowered suspension from the factory and slightly different sway bar geometry as a result. If you don't mind aftermarket, start looking for golf parts. Much easier to find and cheaper. I could rattle off tons of places here in the states to look, but that doesn't help you much.

bravo 35 Report post Posted October 19, 2008 Glad you got it sorted. I was going to suggest you contact Autolign - they have all sorts of suspension and steering links available. One would have been bound to have done the job.
