Help needed

Recommended Posts

We have a 1997 Audi A3 here at work that has been lowered (legally)

The problem is, the R/H front axle touches the sway bar

Does anyone know where you can get a aftermarket sway bar or longer links to eliminate this problem ??

I know we have VW & Audi enthusiasts in here as well

Cheers

Glenn

Your car has the same suspension as the VW golf of the same era.

I would be willing to bet that OEM golf GTI stuff would work for you. Those cars have a lowered suspension from the factory and slightly different sway bar geometry as a result.

If you don't mind aftermarket, start looking for golf parts. Much easier to find and cheaper.

I could rattle off tons of places here in the states to look, but that doesn't help you much.

Glad you got it sorted. I was going to suggest you contact Autolign - they have all sorts of suspension and steering links available. One would have been bound to have done the job.
