Where to ground.??

hi there im currently installing an amp and subs into the boot of my e30, i know your meant to wire the negative to the chassis but my negative cable isnt long enough, do you know where else i can connect it to ?

If your amps on the floor in the boot, run it through the hole in the ski hole thing then remove the back seat and run it to the mount. Maybe give the area a little sanding to make the connection better.

There's as many as three factory earth points in an e30 boot: One for electric aerial, one by the rear firewall, and if the battery is in the boot (not in this case I'd guess) one on the RHS by the wheel well.
