BMW worried about the sales of the 2009 7-Series

BMW is worried that the sluggish North American market will hurt the launch of the 2009 BMW 7-Series which arrives in spring 2009. According to BMW’S U.S. CEO Jim O’ Donnell, the collapsing credit market will provide little hope for an increase in sales of the flagship sedan. O’Donnell says the most BMW can expect is to do better than the overall import luxury segment. The United States continues to be the car’s biggest market.

Not to mention, pricing of the 2009 BMW 7-Series is expected to rise from the current models which ranges from $77,625 to $125,625. Pricing for the 2009 7-Series will be announced closer to its spring 2009 launch.

Yeah, we’re pretty sure that sluggish sales of the ‘09 7-Series will have nothing to do with that back since it’s so beautiful (sarcasm).
