1987 BMW New Car Prices

Recommended Posts

Good Afternoon

I recently bought a NZ New 1987 E30 325i Convertible. I have since obtained the options list from BMW and would like to find out how much the car would have cost when new.

If anybody here has access to a 1987 BMW Price list, I would appreciate any help you could provide.

Cheers

Imports were sold in Japanese yen and would have cost considerably less ;)

I think the E30 Convertible would have been the quintessential Yuppie mobile in the late 80’s!, very nice cars. Wonder what a M3 would have cost had they sold them new? About the same I suspect.

48V V8! Yes, considering they used cavemen technology up until the early nineties on everything bar M cars whilst most Japanese manufactures had multi valve mainstream from the mid 80’s that is truly quite remarkable.

$250k for a new 750il!! That’s a sh*t load of money even by today’s standards, back them you could have built a subdivision :P
