Carl 3 Report post Posted August 28, 2004 Not really that intersting, but I was feeling rather empty after the cat was cut out, feeling better now after having two cobys put in

bmwsparkle 3 Report post Posted August 28, 2004 top man carl. sound better? bimmerboy, i have 4 of these on my 5 (2 per pipe) mainly just for the general size as it fits easier underneath, but they also sound good and flow really well.
bumpstop325 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2004 i have to same set up. but for a 325, of course. carl, are one of the cobys facing the other way?? or are they both the same?
Carl 3 Report post Posted August 28, 2004 (edited) Sam, I took a filem clip of it for about 12 secs but it's 10MB and I can't make it smaller so I won't bother posting it. Bimmerboy, they're coby resonators and they're basically a chamber that allows the exhaust gasses to expanded and offer a little bit of sound muffling and it's debatable whether the improve flow or not...but they're better than a muffler performance wise. EDITE: Sorry Tim, posted as you did, they're both the same, they be looking quite smart side by side :mosh: Edited August 28, 2004 by ///Carl
