bmw335i

help please

Recommended Posts

Hi, im new to this website.

Just asking if anyone knows where to get BMW Offset Lower Control Arm Bushings for an e30- e36

im thinking of changing from 4 to 5stud using e36ti front and rear suspension parts.

also going to do a m30 bigsix swap.

i have a 1983 e30 318i manual forsale in a few weeks. ( just repainting the front ) and need to purchase a manual 6cyl e30 coupe as a base car. so if anyone has one 4sale for a reasonable price i could be keen.

Also have a 89 e34 535i manual for the conversion.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

WTF is it with English forums and forcing you to register...

If original are too pricey and/or you definitely want urethane, you can get Noltec ones from BNT for a pretty good price.

Just buy them from a dealer less drama , work well and you get a warranty all for the smae money

E30 M3 bushings from dealer are most comfortable of the offset bushings,

urethane options:

almost solid option:

How do prices for urethane bushes compare between the Nolthane BNT ones and powerflex?

I got quoted about 1/2 the cost for the Noltec ones compared to Powerflex, partly because they are cheaper but mainly as they take pity on me at BNT and give me a good deal (tip: its good to build a relationship with your local BNT - they may start giving you semi-trade prices). OEM was about the same price as Powerflex I think.

FWIW, I chose OEM for my street car and would probably only use urethane for a track/race car (the Noltec ones wen't on JiB's car).
