briancol 3 Report post Posted November 18, 2008 (edited) Just put a full set of these new tyres from Korea on my car 225 / 45 / ZR17 94W So far I'm very impressed, so much quieter than the Direzza's I had on, and a far better price as well thanks to Johno @ Mag & Tyres Direct our forum sponsor Will keep you all posted on performance My brother-in-law had a set of Nexen tyres put on his Toyota Surf by Johno a couple of months ago, and he has nothing but praise for them.He especially commented on their quietness and their grip. I'll be putting them on my car once my noisy old Yokohama's have worn down (probably in another 10,000 kms). BTW. I believe that the Nexen brand is actually owned by Michelin, johno can correct me if I'm wrong. Edited November 18, 2008 by briancol
Guest Simon* Report post Posted November 18, 2008 I'm running them too Like them a lot - got them ultra cheap buying direct from an importer
OLLIE 26 Report post Posted November 18, 2008 I also think they are a good tyre - great value for money, have them on both the E34 and the E36.
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted November 24, 2008 Have them on the E30, stick to the road pretty damn good and are good in the wet. Cheap as too from Johno, think I paid $80 a tyre when I got my wheels.
Guest SamSpargo Report post Posted November 24, 2008 I'm running them too. They don't mind a little bit of stretch either. Going to pickup some 195's and see how they like an 8.5" wide rim
Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted November 24, 2008 ^^ should have a decent amount of stretch, I got 195s on my x8's and they arent stupidly stretched but not flat. Pics mandatory
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted November 24, 2008 I have Nexen's from Johnno on my E30 also, for peanuts I got a great set of unexpectedly quiet & comfortable tires; Mad E-Props to Johnno! Which car are they on Glenn? On my little 318Ti

*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted December 4, 2008 I've now driven on these tyres in the dry and in wet conditions and I must say I'm very impressed and would highly recommend these tyres to anyone for normal road use.
