Found the problem of the m20 overheating

I pulled the thermostat out in two pieces haha and shrapnel lay behind it

but now i put the new thermostat in it warms up way quicker and site there

the old one looks like someone took it out then threw it as far as they could then went down the road and jumped on it a few times, its so munted and falling to bits

only took about 5 min to change aswell

Lol i had a similar problem in my e30, wouldnt warm up at all, turned out the thermostat was rusted open

yeah this engine has been sitting for a year or 2 or 3

spark plugs were rusted
