I think due to the cost of maintenance, they are less desirable (price wise) than a manual. Driving an E36 SMG M3 was one of the worst drives of my life! Also right colour leather BMW built Recaro's, plus the front end is pre facelift so doesn't have squinted stretched headlights/indicators etc. Nice car for that money. I do know I've only seen a couple of cars with them, and one owner I talked to likes it and has agreed to give me a drive sometime. Will report back when I get around to it.
