That CLK DTM wasn't as fast as I thought it would be - only slightly faster than the CSL in a straight line ... but much slower through the corners (especially after the hairpin and over the hill)

We were there from about 2pm on 22/12/08 Monday.

Read the names on the back window. It should give you an idea of who use to race that car. This car was his last ride too. Sadly passed away racing at Bathurst.

I am pretty sure it is the original car.

It looks like the ex Hulme / Morris car to me too but my question was more along the lines of asking if anyone knows who owns it now & is it raced in Open Class?

Does anyone else know? Quite a piece of history if it is the genuine car.

PS further to that, I understood that the original Hulme / Bathurst 1992 M3 was owned by Kevin Underwood in the UK so just curious to know if it is back in this part of the world.

Yes, I believe it is the original Hulme car, it was at Puke for the open class end of January this year, but was unable to run due to roll cage issues I think.
