Mattzy 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 Apexi V/SAFC's give you the ability to adjust the amount of fuel that the ECU injects into the engine by alterting the signal from the AFM to the ECU. We used them to correct AFR's (as best we could without a dyno) when we couldnt afford a fully fledged aftermarket ECU. IMO it doesnt makes sense financially when nowadays you can pick up a 2nd hand Link, Motec or whatever your flavor for easily under a grand and do 4 times as much.. No idea what he wants it for tho! Yea I got that one on my watchlist haha havent checked out mapecu yet but i will do I just want one to tune the fuel down in my E36.
