Lucan 196 Report post Posted January 14, 2009 hey hey, my "97 e36 rear window switch has gone under, apparently its a common problem when the copper insert breaks or whatev... anyway, an acquaintance randomly had a spare switch although its not the standard e36 one... im unsure what its from but its meant to be a 3 series switch, he reckons i could cut the old wires and wire up this "newer" switch into the circuit, he said its a more reliable switch...my prob is there are only 4 wires coming outta the switch, where as there are 5 already there, should i bother trying this or just find an actual standard switch!? pphhhew cheers Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
