Mattzy 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2009 As for Erich, he's coming along pretty well. He does very good when you stop to think that he has no more than 180hp on that car. As soon as he gets some extra power with his new motor, I'm sure he'll turn on the smoke machine and go crazy with it Anywho, just wanted to stop by and thank you guys for the support. If any of you guys ever make it to the US, let me know and I'll be more than happy to take you guys out for a ride. - Erick For sure dude, I saw he mentioned that he was looking at some Nissan powerplants on Ziptied and was leaning towards the CA18DET of all things! I'm looking foward to seeing how he goes regardless (man i want that front lip of his!) Its good to see that he didnt end up selling it too.. Ditto if you ever make it to NZ! PS - i'll paypal that cash for the stickers through shortly. Cheers, Matt

Greg111 13 Report post Posted January 24, 2009 I have a bunch of pictures from his car when I was at Hockenheim. The S14 he has is breathing through one of the sickest carbon fiber intakes I've ever seen!! You could tell it had a huge ass intake on it by the shear noise it made, wouldn't be surprised if it sucked up rabbits on the road
Driftit 2093 Report post Posted January 25, 2009 was leaning towards the CA18DET of all things! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a fan of the CA. Would never own one. SR or RB25+ if it is Nissan. But I would go 1 or 2JZGTE.

However, I think his thinking is somewhere along the lines of keeping the engine weights similar. 1JZ would be banging but im guessing fairly heavier than the M20
Driftit 2093 Report post Posted January 28, 2009 Yeah 1J is quite a bit heavier. But the SR is quite a bit lighter. And a CA will be running its big ends every other day. lol
