haydenz 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2009 Ok. I will start off with a little bit of history about my 1991 525i E34. Vehcile was frequently serviced by its first New Zealand owner. Nothing went wrong with the car when the previous owner had it. I purchased the car at 148,000k's in August 2008. Since I have owned the car, I have had to replace the following: Water pump Thermostat Break light switch Radiator Alternator Automatic Transmission (Jatco) Idler Battery Radiator hose I am now getting a ticking noise from my M50B25 engine!! Sounds like a diesel vehicle while idling! It seems to dis-appear once the vehicle is up to about 2500rpm. Any suggestions?? I'm sick of paying for things to be fixed and being ripped off as I am not a car person.
