M20B25 FL vs M20B25 PFL motors

Recommended Posts

Ok I am just wondering if there is many parts that are better on one motor than on the other? Or are they very similar? The 320's have a few little differences that when combined can lead to more power.

Mechanical differences.

O2 sensor on the FL, different look of the intake manfold (more curvy). Both have the same 885 head.

All I got :D

All the Euro m20b25 were 9.7CR weren't they?

I am pretty sure motor is the same all over. Other than differences for the ECU's, motronic 1.1 and sensors VS. the motronic 1.3 and sensors on later models.

According to the owners manuals, 9.7 CR on the PFL and 8.8 CR on the FL. Quoted at same power and torque figures though. . . . .
