I know it can tow an E30 & trailer "no trouble" but I tend to attract the plod when towing, so would need to be kosher on the weight limit. Cheers, JTP just to let you know ae34 535i is rated to 1500kg braked tow weight. more than the m5 , 540i 525i etc . i think the e39 540i has a higher rating but a pain in the %$#*^% to fit a tow bar to.
