Recommended Posts

Has anyone got ant ideas, why my bm backfires from setting of from the lights or when I put my foot down to plant it (now and again) I've recently put a induction kit on by Mitech, and had a new rear muffler put on also Ive changed the sensor twice. Also had the E.C.U. changed aswell .

Any help would be good cos Its doin my head in!

According to BMW TIS, check the following:

Exhaust system back pressure.... u mentioned a new rear muffler?

Check fuel pressure

For a E36 withauto tranny and a M50 motor.

I agree with Gus. Take it to Bellars for the dyno. He looked after us really well for the last dyno day there.

Backfiring under acceleration. Wow. Never seen that before.
