I need help

My 520i is taking a long time to get into drive. i can put it in to drive and rev the motor before it will go in to gear. what could this be? :drugs:

f**ked gearbox from attempted burnouts? time for a manual swap

Have your pressures and hoses looked at. Might be low oil or low pump pressure, or clutch packs.

Either way - donen't sound too good i'm afraid.... time to sell?? or fork out for tranny out job??

the forward clutch pack it a combination of about 6 or 7, 1mm steel disc's. depends on who you go to to get the job done should cost about 3-4

i have a M20 auto gearbox for you if you want to buy it.

im coming up to h town this weekend. from memory the gearbox has only done about 105,00kms. also i have access to a pit in hams i can put it in for you.

i talk to a guy at BMWorkshop he told me it will be up $2000 to fix. but it might just be $1200 he needs to look at so im taking it to him on friday.

bro, if yours is an M20 engine.

i will sell you the gearbox for 200, and put it in for you for a 40oz
