Carl 3 Report post Posted October 4, 2004 Add your name to the list of people wanting a copy of Ian's (Hartge) headers. Not only will this solve your crack addiction but you'll also gain a few horsies and a harem of newtons in the process :pimp:
Guest Andrew Report post Posted October 4, 2004 that must sound badass! Just grab a cheap 325 manifold make sure its still straight on the inside and put that on.
m325i 711 Report post Posted October 5, 2004 Na its not that bad. You can feel the gas slightly when idle. You can hear it but only at certain revs, and is not loud at all, yet. Like a dump pipe!

m325i 711 Report post Posted October 6, 2004 Sweet cheers for that. I was led to believe that after market extractors are easy to get and id be looking at $200 aprox. "just the same as HQ holden" was what a mechanic told me. I emailed coby and a few others, no one has sh*t. So that $100 a cylinder is about as cheap as it gets? cainchapman 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2004 I have made enquiries on behalf of a mate who has an E36 328i for a set of custom made jobs. A weeks work, so $3000 approx. Yes, that is expensive, ex F1 & BMW motorsport mechanic doing the work and he does awesome stuff. As with everything, you get what you pay for.
m325i 711 Report post Posted October 6, 2004 Cobys for other "common" cars are cheap as, few hundy. ex F1 & BMW motorsport mechanic doing the work Haha, what a downgrade! Looks like its a repair or standard replacement job. Can you port/polish the factory item? Would i be worth it?
cainchapman 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2004 You port and polish heads, not extractors.
