any ideas why my e30 is overheating?

hey all, car over heated a while ago and got a crak in the radiator so i replaced it, but it is still gettin really hot, like the needle in on the gauge climbs really fast and chills in the red.

wats going on? any ideas?

Hey i had this problem right on new years eve while i was trying to head over to the mount.

Turned out to be my water pump,

and 280$ later its all fixed

so could be that?

Did you use the bleed valve when filling the coolant etc?

Could have a vapor/air lock in the system.

Had this happen before..

Obviously you need professional help as a self confessed noob... I suggest you seek professional help before this turns disasterous for you

BTW: Your car is overheating... because its getting to friggen hot because of a cooling system problem

just thought id let u knw....

it was the thermostat that was causing it to over heat, it was stuffed, a bit on it had snapped in half
