kuryo193 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2009 (edited) E36 96' 320i sedan Im wondering if you guys can help me! Lately my rides bin idling quiet rough and I narrowed it down to the ICV, MAF and O2 sensors but thing now is it wont start! Is there some connection with the rough idling or is this going to be a fuel pump/relay as it turns over but does not fire.. I have just read to lift up the back seats to check so I will have a look but I was wondering if this was a common problem and hopefully there is a common way to fix and quick.. I would consider from your explanation that you probably have 2 problems. The rough idle fault needs to be scanned to check what is wrong. The 2nd problem of not starting may be associated, however its likely to be the fuel pump, or water in the DME. I got your email this morning.. I suggest you give me a call. It would need to be towed to the workshop to repair

kuryo193 0 Report post Posted March 14, 2009 I gather it is the fuel pump as it does not "vibrate or make any noise".. the car does not turn much now which could be the battery dying on me.. turns over once and dies..
