E30stz 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2004 (edited) I hate chrome fullstop - I'm not a fan of bottle caps - BMW mags are pretty hard to come by these days - What mags would look good on a beama if I wasnt able to select with the above restrictions. I will be sticking center caps on them as I dont really like seeing other brand names on bmws . So far BBS is an obvious choice but what model. I've seen a couple of beamers with Mak Foreno's and although they dont look to much resembling the classic Motorsport style that you see on more recent models they still look damn fine in real life. They are shadow chromed. then there is the advanti series - which I've never seen personally in real life. Im not sure if they are deep enough for my liking. The schnitzer ones are deep as and they look awsum. cheers for your input - E30 stz Edited October 11, 2004 by E30stz
Gus 5 Report post Posted October 11, 2004 tarmac evos dont fit.....but would look so cool im an alpina 20 spoke man myself....nothing looks better to me! or narrow 5 spoke wheels are cool 15" basket weaves are kinda boring but look ok.....i might go TSW hockenheims as well, just for something different to bottlecaps
E30stz 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2004 funny you say that - i edited out the tarmac evo options before you posted. they look pretty good. White doesnt suit the darker coloured beamers.

cainchapman 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 If you are interested in some Enkei's, go down to Mag & Turbo in New Lynn. Ask for Glen. He's ex-McMillans and should do you a good deal and give good advice. Get some light ones. Don't just get flash ones. Weight is your enemy.
petone 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Any particular size? MAK stings look real cool and come in shadow chrome but only come in 16" (ideal size for E30 anyway IMO)

Munts316i 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 TSW wheels are softer than Gus after midget porn. Seriously. by that do you mean streangth or not cool? because id seriously love to see some gruvs on an e30 also; dont all mags have to have a specific max weight per wheel reading on them? Guest Spargo Report post Posted October 12, 2004 They are soft. Very soft. Befriend a wheel straightener, as you WILL bend them.
Carl 3 Report post Posted October 12, 2004 They are soft. Very soft. Befriend a wheel straightener, as you WILL bend them. Sorry, I disagree with you worm, I have TSW wheels and i've been extremely hard on them yet they're as straight as the day I bought them 4 years ago. They're war weary and show it and yet you tell me they're soft??? BS.

They're war weary and show it and yet you tell me they're soft??? BS. I have seen in the flesh and also heard shocking stories about TSW's too, and seen some nasty wheel buckling after hitting potholes etc.I wouldn't buy them. Munts316i 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2004 ive also got TSWs and theyre fine. if your going to drive over any major potholes or hit kerbs that would significantly bend your mags you really shouldn't have them. my 5.3c
