Andre3000 55 Report post Posted March 20, 2009 Had it serviced a while ago by Glenn, and aparently the power steering hoses leak. Is it easy/cheap to fix this? Or should i get it done professionally?
*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted March 20, 2009 You can buy OEM hoses (expensive) or just replace both resevoir hoses with the appropriate hydraulic hose and new clips. I also suggest changing the power steering fluid as well. Its not hard to do
Guest FrantiC Report post Posted March 22, 2009 Mine moans at full lock either side (revs drop too), And as of recent has started a really high pitch screech for like ~1 second when it is turned and is turned to full lock either side so when I am doing a U-turn or something I get it alot.. But yeah my fluids full and was replaced about 8 months ago.. No leaks at all. Maybe my rack is F'd?

Guest FrantiC Report post Posted March 22, 2009 Yeah I don't really know ae.. But mines always done it and it's been sweet. But the sudden screech I now get worries me?
QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2009 The screeching/squealing sound your getting is just the belt slipping. Tighten it up, should be the one with the toothed bolt on the slider bracket. Also check your belts condition while your at it.
