Andre3000 55 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 I kinda destroyed my last filter when installing my headers and i think im leaking oil from it. Will a m40 filter work fine? I want to use the smaller filter so i can clear the manifold. On another note. Is it simple to mount the filter facing downwards as this would allow me to continue with an m20 filter. To glenn: how much will a filter cost + a top up on oil? - wana get it sorted quickly
E30stz 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 The M40 filters fit in the cannister in the engine bay. Although there may be two types I dont think it will be much smaller if at all than the m20 one.
