So i got quoted today, an entire kit for my "89 325i would cost around $5000 + GST?? :huh:

Is this about right or does this sounds ridiculous just to me!? :wacko:

Remember, new E30 parts are now listed in the "Mobile tradition" catalogue, they make less of them now so part prices go up UP UP!

There are other options.

a. Wait for a second hand one to come up. Try wreckers.

b. Get a fibreglass one. Are there still some people selling them in NZ? And age prematurely trying to fit it.

c. Get a plastic replica from overseas.

d. Buy an e30 with one already. Keep car, or strip the kit and on sell.

The best looking E30's definitely have them :D.

Thats cheap for brand new mate. You will have to do what the rest of us do and keep an eye out for parts or a car that gets wrecked. and you will probably be waiting for a while! unless you win lotto this weekend ^_^
