10" On the rear of my E30

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone has fitted 10s on the rear of an E30 or got any pics of it done? I have one tyre shop saying do it, the other saying they will stick way too far out and look stupid...

Im planning on running 17x10 35 offset with a 20mm thick spacer probably with 225 wide tyres for a stretched look. I am aware I will need extensive guard modifications to get this to work but im ok with that. Will be running 9" on the front.

Feel free to post pics and tell me your views.

Much appreciated

Luke

I used to run 9.5inch wide BBS RS with 225/40/16's and +8 offset on the rear of my E30, fitted fine with slight guard work.

yup those are 4x100/4x114. I think there is a bit of misconception with the poke issue. My mates have had there road cars certed with the wheels poking out but the tread of the tire is within the guard, but some other places disagree with this.

does anyone know more about this? I was also pulled aside at a road block which also had LTSA people there, and they have said my car was fine as long as the tread is not outside of the guard.

It's in the WOF rules, on the LTSA website.

They're both right. Top of rim has to be flush with the guard. Chuck some -4 degree camber on there though and shes gravy
