Swapping out a Jatco with ZF trans in 328i E36

Has anyone replaced the japanese import Jatco trans with the ZF ( A5S 310Z I think? ) NZ new auto?

dont know if any one has , but i do know that you will need to change the engine/trans loom as the plugs are different for the box and the trans ecu etc.

would be easier to convert to manual .

i have the parts.

Cost me $2300 to recondition my trans

Quoted $1000 flat to swap in a 2nd hand trans

OR

$2000 for manual conversion

Go with the manual (I got this quote AFTER I had already had it reconned, i was an impatient idiot)

Ha you can say that again, $300.00 in the hand and a manual on top....but i won't rub it in.

you just need to do the pedals , no need to swap the whole pedal box over
