blakamin 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2009 (edited) If that's a dealers sales pitch the best I can do is... bargepole-----------------------> mustang edit: as an (australian) owner of some genuine aussie muscle, a gt rep with a c4 and a non-tacho dash... meh, had about 10... I'd prefer a genuine 302 fairmont Edited April 16, 2009 by blakamin
ewie 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 Yep the Mustang is pretty cool.. You can keep the attempted GT replica though.... way too much money for what is essentially a 30+ yo falcon. Makes we wish I still had my 68 XT GT... I bought it damaged in 1986 for $500, restored it and ended up having to sell it thanks to my (then) new (now ex) wife. Sold it in 1991 for $12,500 and don't want to think about how much money I lost in the "deal"..... if only I'd known how much it might've been worth now.... kerrynzl 3 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Mustangs nice, shame its not a fastback. Falcon makes me feel all funny. Haha! Once a westy always a westy. You're better off beating the crap out of a GT replica than a real one Mustang Notchbacks make good donor cars for cheap race cars [ they handle better than falcons even though they have the same floorpan ]
