Who's 90 E30 325i on trademe?

Recommended Posts

Been on there for months and months,

Too overpriced imo

If it was the right price at a good deal it would have been snapped up by now.

Im not sure he is an active member sorry mate.

Looks a bit average, might just be the photos.

High millage yes, but it is a 1990 car? 20 years is a long time to be saving the kilometres for the eighth owner. Given things have been maintained properly IMO it makes no difference, they are built like brick sh*t houses.

A low millage (-100,000km) M325i would be worth nearer 15 in the right order.

I guess it depends on what POOR condition means really. If it's body and paint I'm not too worried as that can be fixed generally cheaper than mechanical. Very tempted but my thoughts were the same that it's too expensive at that price. I was thinking more $6-7k for those kms and paint condition.

By all means, go check it out... but as others have said; It has been on Trademe for over a year.

NB: I paid six for mine and it's in exceptional condition.

THanks for the feedback Mark, I'm defantely new to BMWs although I've wanted an E30 for years just never got round to it. If I chose to go down this track I'd definately be bargaining hard with the owner on price.

To be honest, I don't think this guys is really keen to sell anyhow.

If he was, he would have dropped the price ages ago.

As some have suggested, it has been on Trademe for yonks now.

I emailed him last night said I was interested. He suggested a respray would do it wonders but rest was in good working order. I think for 10k plus a respray there's a lot of money for an 1990 325i!

He's put the standard wheels back on.

There's no way I'd pay more than $7500.
