The failcon is my grandads, it is indeed, a peice.

But It's used as a windbrake to stop my car getting so dirty when the wind picks up.

^ IMO. Don't waste money on gauges unless it is a race car, because even cheap ones to get fitted and working correctly are not cheap when you include adaptors, senders etc.

Use that money to get your ACS apron fixed and some side skirts.

Yeah, Infact I've just had a quote to repair that apron 70 bucks! I was quite stoaked actually :)

Yeah, I was looking at how much they are, I'd only get nice looking ones (like VDO Vision) but it costs like 150+ a gauge for that and the sender.

Gauges suck. I had some then sold them not long after. No point. Ricers have gauges.

Unless of course it is a race car.

OR A BOOST GAUGE! lol

Haha, What if it's a boost gauge on a non-turbo car used as a vaccume gauge? :P

Oh yeah, Should be fun then. I remember my first m20 swap experience.

Chain block attached to a wooden support in my ex's garage. Wasn't high enough to pull motor and gearbox out on the EXTREME angle it needs to come out at. But with alot smashing around, it came out alright. Getting it in OMFG..

Haha, I helped another couple of members do an M40 to M20 swap, the engine crane hit the roof of the garage.

We're not sure if it will be easier to remove the engine/box bolt the gbox to the new engine and reinstall together.

After a long eventful engine swap, car is all sweet... done about 600km with no real issues.... Needs a new thermostat though... heater goes cold on the open road.

However, this is all good and well... but I'm on holiday now... driving on a pretty empty peice of road, which I assumed was 100kph... (BAD IDEA) Radar Detector picks up a cop car... Then the cop car pulls me over... I'm thinking WTF.

He then informs me it's a 70kph zone... and then hands me a ticket for 29kph over the speed limit :0 Whoops...

However the car goes real good :D
